Frequently Asked Questions

A: So much fun! We'll start the night by getting everyone checked in. They'll then be given a crown or tiara and welcomed into our photo space operated by professional photographers. Each participant will have their picture taken with their caretakers and/or group. We'll then match them with a one-on-one Buddy, and they'll be taken into the prom, where everyone will be announced and celebrated as they enter! From there, participants can dance the night away, take a ride on the party bus, snap a pic at the photobooths, enjoy snacks and refreshments and utilize our sensory and activity rooms.

A: Registration is required in advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins.

A: Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to come as they are! Wanna suit up? Wear that fancy dress? T-shirt and jeans more your speed? All styles are welcome at A Night of Stars!

A: Nope! A Night of Stars is a completely FREE event!

A: We have an incredible team of trained and background-checked 'Buddies' who are excited to spend the evening one-on-one with each participant. Because we want to celebrate caretakers just like you as well, we ask that you utilize the Caretaker Lounge, where we'll provide refreshments, prizes and loads of fun!

A: No. However, we will provide drinks, refreshments, and snacks to both participants and Caretakers.

A: Each participant will be required to note allergies on their registration form. That information will then be provided in detail to each Buddy. Drinks and snacks that accommodate any food allergy/restriction will be available.

A: Every Night of Stars volunteer goes through a detailed training process that includes coaching for their designated role, a detailed background check and training specific to facilitating A Night of Stars. We'll also have a trained safety and security team for the event.

A: A fully equipped and staffed sensory room and a separate activity room will be available to any participant looking for a calmer or quieter experience.
