1. I can’t hear the video. I can see it playing, but I don’t have audio.
To get the sound to start, click the video. (Most browsers don’t automatically play the audio from a video playing on the site.) If that doesn’t work, try refreshing your browser and then click the video. If you’re having trouble on TryChurchOnline.com, try using YouTube.com/wschurch.

  2. I’m seeing an error message, or the video isn’t showing, what can I do?
First, check the time. If it’s not a time that we’re broadcasting, you won’t be able to watch the service. If the service is currently being live-streamed, you might need to refresh (this usually happens if your connection gets interrupted for some reason). Press the refresh button on your browser to see if that corrects it. If you’re having trouble on TryChurchOnline.com, try using YouTube.com/wschurch (or vice versa).

  3. How do I watch the service?
You can join us at TryChurchOnline.com or YouTube.com/wschurch live on Sunday mornings. Visit those links to see our online service schedule! We have some tips for how to make online worship AWESOME that you can use as you plan your visit.

  4. Can I watch on my TV?
Sure! The easiest way is most likely to use the YouTube app with your smart TV or streaming device. The configuration to stream from TryChurchOnline.com varies depending on what device you're using. Below are links that provide instructions or applications to help get TCO on your TV.
    AppleTV: iOS/Apple
    ChromeCast: Android | iOS/Apple | Google Chrome (PC/Windows)
    FireTV: AndroidiOS/Apple | Native Streaming
    Roku: Android | iOS/Apple
We suggest keeping your phone, laptop, or tablet on to join the conversation in our online chat at TryChurchOnline.com.

  5. Why is my connection buffering or stopping?
If your internet connection is slow or having trouble, the stream may pause. You can select the stream quality manually; to set your quality, click the video and choose the quality setting you desire. Try a lower quality and see if that allows you to view with fewer pauses.

  6. What browser should I use?
Participants at TryChurchOnline.com regularly use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. We suggest any current browser that supports HTML5.

  7. Can I watch full the service later?
We only live-stream the full service at specific times. With a few exceptions (like our At the Movies series), we post our message content on our site at wschurch.org/watch later that same day. The only way to see the entire service is when it’s streamed live.

  8. I have more questions, who can I contact?
We’d be glad to help answer questions in the chat when we’re live at TryChurchOnline.com, or you can email info@wschurch.org with a specific question.
