HSM Andrizomai Retreat

October 23, 2026 | 6:00 PM

High school guys are invited to step away from everyday distractions and spend a weekend focusing on what it means to become men who follow Jesus with purpose, strength, and integrity.

Andrízomai is a Greek word used by Paul in 1 Corinthians 16:13 to call believers to “act like men.” This retreat is an opportunity for high school guys to explore what that looks like as followers of Jesus and grow into the kind of men God is calling them to be.

Throughout the weekend, we'll have honest conversations about challenges young men face—including temptation, anger, distraction, and a lack of direction—and look to Scripture for wisdom on navigating them well. Students will also learn from men who are intentionally living out their faith and want to encourage the next generation to do the same.

The retreat runs Friday, October 23 at 6:00 PM–Sunday, October 25 at 7:00 AM at Camp CILCA. The cost is $65.

This is a no-technology retreat, creating intentional space to listen, reflect, build relationships, and focus on what matters most. Bring a physical Bible, journal, and pen, and come ready to take meaningful steps toward becoming an Andrízomai man.
