Summer Study

June 16, 2026 | 6:00 PM

If you’re looking for a way to grow and connect with other Westsiders during the summer months, join us on Tuesdays starting June 16, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 PM for our 6-week Summer Study. Each night includes live teaching and table discussion, creating space to learn, ask questions, and engage with others in a meaningful way.

This year, you’ll choose one of three different course options, each designed for a different stage of your faith journey:

READING YOUR BIBLE WITH CONFIDENCE. This course will walk through a big-picture timeline of the biblical story, explore the various literary genres the Bible uses, and discuss the best ways not only to understand what scripture meant when it was written, but also to apply what scripture means to our lives today. This discussion-oriented course is perfect for Bible-beginners wondering how to get started and Bible-readers ready to better understand what they’re reading!

NAVIGATING CULTURAL ISSUES AS A CHRIST-FOLLOWER. Our world and society are changing at break-neck speed—and not always for the better! This course will explore how to think biblically and “Christianly” about some pressing contemporary issues in our fast-changing world, including artificial intelligence, identity, medical ethics, and life online. This course is ideal for any believer eager to discern how Jesus would engage our modern culture and ready to follow his lead.

UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION. While the symbols, structure and genre of Revelation may be largely foreign to modern readers, they would have been very familiar to its original readers. This course will aim to interpret Revelation through a first-century lens, understanding first how the original readers would have applied its message, and second, how we might apply it today. This course will be especially challenging for beginners and just right for those already familiar with scripture.

Whether you’re just getting started or ready to go deeper, there’s a place for you. Choose the course that interests you most and plan to join in! Learn more about each class and register by using the button below!
