If you are interested in finding someone to talk to or pray with, consider the following opportunities: 

•          Stephen Ministry at West Side is a one-on-one caring ministry to those who are experiencing a crisis and would like someone to meet with once a week to listen, to pray, and to share with. All information is confidential and all Stephen Ministers are supervised in their caring for others. To request a Stephen Minister, call the church office and ask for Faith Watkins, 217-793-2800.
•          Living Hope Counseling Center is a professional counseling center located on the campus of Hope Church, available to those interested in personal or relational growth and change with the help of professional counselors.  Their counseling services are based on the belief that God is our ultimate healer and that having a relationship with Him provides true, long-lasting change.

• Growing  through Grief is a support ministry of West Side for adults who have lost someone to death. The 10-week program offers help in understanding the various aspects of the grieving process, as well as regaining one’s self-esteem, and rebuilding a meaningful life, with the primary focus being on the spiritual needs of those involved.  For information on the next session, email FaithW@wschurch.org
